I leave our session fully on your wavelength—and you leave about a thousand pounds lighter, because now it’s all in my head instead of yours!

Around here, brand messaging isn’t dressed up as an add-on, because it’s actually the foundation. In this phase, I create a complete Brand Messaging Guide that’s basically every word you need to capture the guts of your biz—it’s a clear representation of your voice and tone, your vision and values, who you are and what makes you different, who your people are and what they care about, and how to connect with them. 

(Tbh, most clients cry when they get theirs because it’s like holding up a mirror and seeing your biz reflected back in the full, brilliant strength of what it is.)

When we work together, I’m not just a writer—I’m a deep-question asker, meaning-maker, curious researcher, and steward of your vision. 

Even though it’s nearly guaranteed that you’ll hit me with an “OMG HOW DOES THIS SOUND EXACTLY LIKE ME” comment in the GDoc somewhere along the way, it’s not about me pretending to be you.

Instead, our collaboration is about me being able to deeply know and understand you & your biz, so that I can really channel your essence instead of just imitating. 

I *could* say I’m your cheerleader (because I do bring the hype!), but really, it’s deeper than that. While writing your words, I hold your biz with care and reverence. I get personally interested in it. I get thoughtfully into the guts of it, and then unearth the very best parts.

What’s on your mind?

  • Design and copy go hand in hand, but copy is the foundation. Good design creates that important “I’m legit” factor, but copy actually keeps people on the page—and sells. (Not to mention sets you up with all the messaging you need to talk about your biz on social and IRL!)

    If you’re working with a designer, I recommend that you start with me at least at the same time (if not earlier). I’m happy to coordinate with your designer as needed to make sure that copy and design play nicely the whole way through.

    If you’re DIYing your design or buying a template, definitely start with copy. Walking away with a copy doc that’s perfectly optimized for popping into a template will make your life soooo much easier.

  • If you’re a brand or business owner who feels strongly about the way you serve the world, you bet! I welcome photographers, designers, coaches, organizers, educators, wellness pros, pet sitters… you name it. I love helping you own your genius, nail your message, and show up for more of your dream clients. I primarily work with service-based businesses, but if products are more your world, I’m happy to see if we’d be a fit!

    Projects like single web pages, quarterly marketing retainers, blogging, and email funnels are reserved for past clients.

    If you’re brand spankin’ new to biz, you might be better off investing in the Done-With-You process, but I’m happy to talk through your situation!

  • I get it—copywriting is an investment, and you might be tempted to Frankenstein it. But I take you through the complete web copy process because it’s the best way to get you the results that you deserve.

    With a complete website, I can nail your brand voice and your client’s path all the way to booking, creating a real return on your investment. Consistency builds trust, and if only one page has the right strategy behind it… something will seem off.

    Besides, when we’re done, you’ve got an entire website that sounds like you, and tons of great copy to repurpose across your content.
