website copywriting services for entrepreneurs + small businesses
Copywriting that finally matches the level you’re operating at—and positions you for what’s next.
Where creative entrepreneurs, founders, and small businesses who have outgrown *good enough* go for website words that actually say something, sound different, and work.
Let’s quiet all the noise, untangle your thoughts, and finally set you up with the website words you’ve been craving.
Instead of continuing your staring match with the blinking cursor (or trying to camouflage your words with nicer design and fancier brand photos!), it’s time to get your one-of-a-kind story straight.
That sense of unfinished business, like you’re stuck with words that aren’t quite *it*, wears on you—especially when you feel like “this is my own damn business! So why is talking about it so hard?”
Well, because this stuff is vulnerable, you know? And trying to see yourself clearly is like trying to read a label from inside the jar.
But it also matters a lot, to you and to your biz.
Your copy is out there 24/7 on the world wiiiide internet. It’s the first impression that people get into what you’re all about. It’s the whole collection of words that has to answer—why you, out of everyone else? Why this offer? Why now?
But the good news? You don’t have to go it alone any longer.
Here’s the truth about what strategic, thoughtful brand messaging + website copywriting can really do for you.
Let’s go deep for a sec. (When we work together, this will be a recurring theme, so get used to it, mmmkay?)
How many times have you heard copywriting talked about as a magic carpet on the way to more? More scale, more growth, more revenue.
And sure, that’s not wrong, necessarily. But it’s not magic.
Because getting there takes words that position you for more of this:
More of the authority and expertise you want to be known for.
More of your ability to show up as you are, and trust that you have what it takes to claim your space.
More of the influence you’d like to create in your industry, your niche, your movement.
More of what you actually want in your one-of-a-kind biz.
And this (^) kind of more begins right here.

“Theresa is super professional, personable and knowledgeable. She really takes the time to get to know you and provide perfect results.
Before we worked together, I felt like I didn't have enough copy on my site or quality copy. It's certainly not my strong suit and is a really stressful task that I hate doing.
I wanted to attract & book more ideal clients so I could grow my business and raise my prices. After the new copy launched I booked my top tier package for the first time, and two of the next tier down! I’ve also been booking clients from all over the state and that hasn’t happened before, most saying they found me from a Google search so that’s definitely a result of her copy and keywording genius!”

Meet your website copywriter, Theresa
(See also: thrifting enthusiast, bunny guardian, and maker of all the things.)
Partnering with clients as a copywriter is really special, because they’re inviting me into their inner world and pulling back the curtain. They’re trusting me with their big ideas, their “I don’t knows,” and their vision for what they really, most deeply want, and I take that seriously.
I’m always proud when I help a client have a successful launch, sell out a service, or rank higher on Google, but I reallyyyyy live for their transition from “I know my work matters, but…” to “THIS is what I’m choosing to be known for, and here’s how my words are going to own it.”
I can’t wait to hear from you!
Not sure which one is right for you? Check ‘em out and inquire so we can be in touch. Once we set up a Copy Chat, I’ll ask you a bunch of Qs to help guide you.
(And pssst... if you’re nodding along with me but also still kinda thinking, “Okay yes, but what exactly does a website copywriter actually *do*?”…
“How Theresa took my jumbled thoughts and emotions and translated them into my own words was nothing short of amazing.
I've managed a private practice since 2018, and since then, I've been looking for a way to express myself and my values through words. I had the ideas in my head and the feelings in my heart, but it was so frustrating because I just couldn't figure out a way to communicate them through my website.
Her attention to detail and actually listening in all of the ways I was communicating has meant so much to me. She invested the time to listen, research, and understand. I want to partner with her for each and every writing endeavor throughout the rest of my days!

Which copywriting service is best for me?
I need to know more about your particular business and goals (that’s what our discovery call is for!), but in general…
Brand Messaging & Custom Website Copywriting tends to be best for established businesses that really want to double down on their visibility and authority, as well as new brands (especially those entering crowded playing fields!) that are prepared to take a big swing with their launch. This process has a ton of depth, is designed to be really durable (should last you 3-5+ years!), and is focused on SEO as well.
Done-With-You Website Copywriting is a great fit for new/new-ish businesses that want to put their best foot forward while also recognizing that they’re still evolving. (If your services or focus are still shifting significantly, it’s not time to invest in fully custom copywriting yet! That’s why the done-with-you process splits the difference.)
Should I invest in website design or website copywriting first?
Copywriting goes first, always! Designers can’t design without having the actual words on the page in hand. The words come first, and then your designer has something real to build around. Then you get the most out of your investment in both copy and design: a site that’s intentional, not just pretty.
If you’re working with a designer, I recommend that we tackle copy first, and then you can begin the design process when we’re close to completion. (Trust me, your designer will LOVE YOU for this.) I’m happy to coordinate with your designer as needed to make sure that copy and design play nicely the whole way through.
What kinds of businesses do you write for?
I write for creative entrepreneurs, thoughtful founders, and small businesses that have outgrown “good enough” messaging and are ready to enter their next stage of visibility, authority, and leadership. Past clients have included coaches, wellness pros, software startups, consultants, photographers, beauty brands, voiceover artists… I love range!
The common thread isn’t a niche or industry. It’s that you have depth, a point of view, and results, and you’re ready for your website to finally reflect that.
How much should I expect to invest in website copywriting services?
Professional website copywriting with me typically ranges from about $2,500 to $10,000, depending on the scope. Done-With-You Website Copywriting (for new/newish businesses) is on the low end of that range, while a fully custom Brand Messaging + Custom Website Copywriting begins at $5,000.
What I will say: good copywriting is an investment in words that your business will lead with for years. And it tends to compound in its value and keep paying you back in inquiries, in referrals, in visibility and searchability, and more.
How far in advance should I inquire?
Sooner than you think, truly. My calendar typically fills up 2-3 months in advance, and you can anticipate your copywriting project taking ~2-6 weeks once we kick off. And then, you’ll want to factor in design after that!
If you have a specific launch date in mind, it’s best to inquire with all of your creative partners (especially copywriters and designers) at least 4 months in advance. You’ll make the most of your investment (and avoid booked-out disappointment!) by giving yourself plenty of room to plan.
Does copywriting involve blog or email writing too?
We always begin with brand messaging and website copywriting, so we can set your brand up with a solid foundation and strong core website pages that do the heavy lifting.
After that, though, we can work on blogs, email sequences, print projects, and more! All content projects are reserved for past/current clients, because content is way more effective when we’ve already done the messaging work that’s included when we write your site. (The good news? Once I’m your copywriter, I can be your copywriter forever.)
Do you offer payment plans?
Abso-freakin-lutely.
You secure your spot with a 25% deposit and the project needs to be fully paid up upon completion, but I’m happy to break down your payments into as many installments as you like. (With no extra fees, obviously. Ew, David.)
